Information you provide

• Account details such as email address, display name, and username.
• Profile details and a profile image when you choose to add them.
• Movie preferences, watchlists, viewing activity, reactions, and notification choices.
• Support information that you choose to send by email.

How information is used

Movelle uses this information to authenticate your account, operate personalized movie features, synchronize your choices, send notifications you enable, understand feature adoption, improve reliability, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and meet legal obligations.

Services used by the app

Firebase provides authentication, database, storage, app integrity, messaging, and optional usage analytics services. Apple, Google, or Facebook process information when you choose their login option. Movie metadata is provided by external catalog services. Those providers apply their own privacy terms.

Usage analytics

When Share Usage Analytics is on, Movelle collects product interactions such as screens viewed, feature choices, content identifiers, and success or failure outcomes. Free-form search text, email addresses, names, and other contact details are not sent in analytics events.

You can turn analytics on or off at any time in Settings → Privacy. Turning it off stops future collection and resets the analytics identifier stored by the app.

Passwords and account security

Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication. Movelle does not store password values in Firestore. Social-login passwords remain managed by the selected provider.

Retention and deletion

Account information is retained while your account is active or as needed to operate the service. You can start permanent deletion in the app under Settings → Privacy → Delete Account. See the account deletion page for details.

Your choices

You can turn usage analytics on or off in Movelle, change notification and device permissions in iOS Settings, update supported profile information, reset a password, or request account deletion. Some records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or law.
